Company Information: Michael Schlumbohm, owner of Front View Feeds, has been involved with breeding and showing exhibition poultry (chickens, ducks, geese and turkeys) for years, actively involved in 4H, and exhibiting at many national-level poultry shows since a young age. Mike received a Bachelor’s Degree in Poultry Science from the University of Arkansas in 2015. During his studies, he began working with a research group focused solely on nutrition research for broilers and broiler breeders. Being a part of this group is what led him to learn more about feed formulation and the importance of a properly balanced diet for poultry.
As Mike began to learn more about the importance of good nutrition, it was then that he also began to realize most feed stores do not offer a wide range of diets, especially diets that would be valuable to both the exhibition poultry breeder and the small farmer raising poultry. From there, he began to ask himself questions about the feed: Does the feed available for poultry have enough energy in it? Enough amino acids? Vitamins? Because these items are not required to be listed on feed tags, they are questions that remained unanswered.
…And along came the idea and formation of Front View Feeds– a complete line of premium quality poultry feed fit for every age and type of chicken, duck, goose, turkey, guinea fowl, and upland gamebird. All diets are unique to Front View Feeds and, typically, not available anywhere else.
Mike strongly believes that the quality of your poultry matters – and the quality of your feed matters, too.
